This was the route used to get to Olobelibel School, the terrain is not so great and even worse when it rains as most people get cut off from getting to Kajiado town

Girls were gathered together to receive us. Lovely Maasai songs to welcome us, oh what joy!

This was the distribution for the Pad Challenge, supplies of which were organized by Zana Africa
We were adorned with the Maasai traditional beading which was truly an honor.
Isn’t it amazing how fast the year moves. Its already almost June, half the year has gone just like that, just the other day it was Jan and we were in Kajiado county!
Speaking off – we got the first of the donation for Olebeilbel from Zana Africa. We had a good meeting on 2 May which also gave us a brief on the use of the Nia app! not sure what Nia app is, please check out Zana website here www.zanaafrica.org
Additionally to measure the impact of the sanitary towels for the girls we will look back at the schools attendance records and keep a register for the girls to sign off once they each receive their supplies.

Zana Africa recently ran the Pad Giveaway Challenge. PTW was excited to be a part of this and now even more exciting to hear that our submission went through! It feels like we won an Oscar… thank you Zana for the opportunity and thank you for championing the cause continuously as we follow close behind.
